Belonging
We believe meaningful learning grows through connection — to the earth, to one another, and to a shared purpose.
Food has long been one of humanity’s most powerful ways to build community, and we create experiences that help every child feel seen, valued, and included. From tasting something they’ve grown themselves to gathering around a shared harvest meal, students experience the joy, pride, and confidence that come from contributing to something larger than themselves.
By cultivating spaces where students, educators, and families learn and grow together, we strengthen school culture, deepen engagement, and foster a lasting sense of belonging rooted in care, collaboration, and shared experience.
What this looks like: Students who feel confident sharing their ideas, classrooms built on collaboration and mutual respect, harvests that become opportunities for collective celebration, and a culture of belonging that ripples outward from the garden into the school, home, and broader community.
